Warranty
At Home Elements, we are committed to providing high-quality products and reliable warranty coverage. The warranty period starts from the date of purchase and varies depending on the product component.
Warranty Coverage
Sofas
- Frame (5 Years): Covers defects and poor timber and steel framing workmanship.
- Foam (2 Years): Covers significant performance issues in foam cushioning. Mild softening within the first six months is normal and not a defect. Cushion materials naturally conform to the user's shape over time. Regular seat cushion rotation is recommended for even wear and prolonged lifespan.
- Fabric (1 Year): Covers manufacturing defects. Excludes wear, wrinkling, fading, pilling, or fabric treated with consumer-applied soil repellents.
- Leather (2 Years): Covers manufacturing defects. Natural creasing and stretching are not covered. Damage from hair dyes, medications, or improper maintenance is excluded. Regular use of leather cleaner and conditioner is recommended.
All Other Products
- 1-Year Warranty: Covers defects in materials and craftsmanship, including structural failures, loose joints, and significant surface blemishes.
Clearance Products
- No Warranty Coverage: Clearance products are sold as-is and are not covered under warranty.
Warranty Service
For Minor Defects
We will repair the product within a reasonable time frame (normally within 3 months). Certain fittings may need to be ordered from manufacturers, which could extend the process. If a repair is not possible, we will replace the product. If replacement is unavailable, a refund will be issued.
For Major Defects
If a product cannot be repaired, the customer is entitled to return the item and request a refund or a replacement product of equal value.
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal Wear and Tear: Examples include scratches, fading, pilling, cushion softening, and natural ageing.

- Errors in Assembly, Cleaning, or Maintenance: Issues resulting from incorrect assembly, cleaning with harsh chemicals, or failure to follow maintenance instructions.
