Production Care Information
Natural Stone Furniture
The uniqueness of marble furniture comes from its natural patterns and colour variations. Each piece of marble tells its own "story", with the natural cracks and pores enhancing its beauty and distinct charm. These irregular patterns and colour changes make each marble furniture piece a one-of-a-kind work of art.
the most effective way to care for marble is through proper daily maintenance and usage. While marble is hard and durable, being a natural stone, it still requires careful attention to maintain its beauty and longevity. Preventive measures are often more important than corrective repairs.
Daily maintenance
- Wipe the surface with a soft microfiber cloth, and clean it with water only (the best solution is to use distilled or purified water to prevent water marks) for regular maintenance. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or acidic substances like vinegar, lemon juice etc. which can damage the marble.
- To avoid damage, use trivets, coasters and placemats to protect from hot dishes or anything that may scratch or stain the surface.
Spills
- Always mop spills up immediately- even if it’s just water.
- Blot the spill with a paper towel or dry clean cloth. Do not wipe it or it will spread on the surface.
Loading
- Never sit on the tabletop or place heavy items on top of the marble. Marble can break or crack along its natural lines and veins.
Sofa
General maintenance
- Vacuum all surfaces regularly, including all the cushions and the back of the sofa.
- Avoid place in the area that has direct sunlight.
- Position the sofa at least 2 meters from the heating elements.
- Prevent sharp objects damage the sofa.
Leather
- Use a fully wrung-out soft microfiber towel to wipe the surface of the leather. Alternatively, you can use a soft attachment vacuum cleaner for regular cleaning.
- When cleaning a leather sofa, avoid using alkaline cleaning products. This is because leather is treated with acidic substances during the manufacturing process, and using alkaline products can diminish the leather's softness. Over time, this may cause the leather to crack and fade in colour.
- Be mindful of sharp or abrasive objects such as shoes, belt buckles, rings and zippers, as these can damage furniture.
- After sitting for a long time, gently tap the seating area and edges to help restore their original shape and reduce minor indentations caused by concentrated pressure.
Washable sofa
- Some of our sofas have removable covers that can be wash. We recommend dry cleaning or hand washing for cleaning. Do not use the washing machine. Do not wring out the cover or use the dryer to dry the cover, as this may cause the material to shrink or lose its shape.
- Use cold water while hand washing. Dry it in a shaded area, and avoid direct sunlight.
Wood Furniture
- Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or ultraviolet light, which may cause discolouration or deterioration of the surface.
- Do not place hot or cold objects like drinks or bottles directly onto the surface as this can leave marks.
- Use coasters and placemats to provide protective padding between the timber and any objects placed on it.
- Avoid dragging items across your furniture, particularly heavy and abrasive items, including plates and glassware.
- Make sure nail polish remover, hair spray, perfume or strong corrosive solvents do not contact with your furniture.
- Do not write directly on top of timber surfaces as pen or pencil marks may show, particularly on timber veneer.
- Clean regularly, clean spills immediately.
- Regularly and gently dust with a clean microfiber cloth.
- Do not use any chemicals, detergents or any product containing silicon to clean timber veneer.
